Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Antenna collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use antenna.wtf and related services.
By using Antenna, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
We may collect information that you provide directly to Antenna, including your name, username, email address, profile picture, profile biography, account and profile preferences, comments and other content you publish, albums and listening activity you choose to share, people you follow and other interactions within the service, invitations, shared links, related activity, and communications you send to us.
Passwords are not stored in plain text. They are processed and stored using a password hash.
We may also automatically collect limited technical information necessary to operate and protect the service, including IP address, session identifiers, browser and device information, request timestamps, security and authentication events, and information necessary to detect abuse or excessive requests.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to create and maintain user accounts; authenticate users and maintain sessions; display user profiles and activity; enable album listening, sharing, following, commenting, invitations, and other social features; send account-related communications such as email verification or password recovery messages; operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Antenna; protect accounts and the service against fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and other security threats; enforce our Terms of Use; respond to support, privacy, legal, or intellectual property requests; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We aim to collect and use only information reasonably necessary for these purposes.
3. Public information
Antenna is a social service.
Depending on the feature and the privacy settings you choose, some information may be visible to other users or publicly accessible, including username, display name, profile picture, biography, public listenings, albums you share publicly, public comments, followers and following relationships, and other activity intentionally made public through Antenna.
Your email address and password are not intended to be publicly displayed.
You should avoid publishing information that you do not want other people to see.
4. Private activity
Some Antenna features may allow content or listening activity to be private or shared only with specific users.
We use reasonable access controls to restrict this information according to the selected privacy settings.
However, users who receive or have access to information may independently copy, screenshot, or redistribute it. Antenna cannot control what another user does with information after legitimately receiving it.
5. Cookies and sessions
Antenna uses cookies or similar browser technologies that are necessary for account authentication, security, and operation of the service.
For example, Antenna may store a session identifier in your browser so you can remain signed in.
These technologies are used for functional and security purposes.
If Antenna later introduces analytics, advertising, marketing cookies, or other non-essential tracking technologies, this Privacy Policy and any applicable consent mechanisms may be updated accordingly.
6. Information from third-party services
Antenna may retrieve album information, artwork, artist information, links, and other music-related metadata from external services and publicly available sources.
This information generally relates to music and recordings rather than Antenna user accounts.
When you follow a link to an external website or service, that third party may collect information according to its own privacy practices. Antenna does not control the privacy practices of third-party services.
7. Service providers
We may use third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate Antenna, including services that provide website and application hosting, database infrastructure, email delivery, network infrastructure, security and performance services, and music metadata or artwork.
These providers may process limited information when necessary to provide their services to Antenna.
We do not sell users' personal information to advertisers.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Antenna, maintain your account, preserve the integrity and security of the service, resolve disputes, investigate abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
If you delete your account or request deletion, information associated with your account may be deleted or anonymized where appropriate.
Some information may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, or records that must be retained for legitimate technical or legal purposes.
9. Account deletion
You may request deletion of your Antenna account. Deletion may result in removal or anonymization of profile information and other personal information associated with your account.
Certain information may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or system backups.
To request account deletion, contact antenna.wtf@gmail.com.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on the laws applicable to you, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of certain processing, objection to certain uses, a portable copy of certain information, or withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.
Requests may be sent to antenna.wtf@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information.
These may include authentication controls, password hashing, restricted access to private information, secure session management, and measures intended to prevent abuse or unauthorized access.
No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
12. Children
Antenna is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children who are not legally permitted to use the service independently. If you believe that a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us at antenna.wtf@gmail.com so that we can review the situation.
13. International use
Antenna may be accessed by users in different locations.
The technical infrastructure and service providers used to operate Antenna may process or store information in different locations.
Where applicable law requires specific safeguards for international transfers of personal information, we will take reasonable steps to comply with those requirements.
14. Automated decision-making
Antenna does not currently use personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on users.
Automated systems may be used for ordinary technical functions such as security, rate limiting, spam prevention, content organization, or service operation.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Antenna evolves or when our privacy practices or legal obligations change.
When changes are material, we may provide notice through Antenna, by email, or through another appropriate method.
The current version and effective date will remain available on the service.
