This is the first release on the Fresh Sound New Talent label from pianist Robert Glaspar. Along with Damion Reed and Bob Hurst we find here John Ellis and Marcus Strickland on saxophones - both winners of last year's Thelonius Monk Institute Jazz Awards for Best Saxophonist. This is the debut album from one of the most exciting new piano players on the scene today.
